London pressure Heartworms returns with new single ‘Jacked’.
The songwriter’s piercing debut EP ‘A Comforting Notion’ received big acclaim on its launch, capped by a triumphant headline present at London’s Village Underground. Not too long ago supporting St. Vincent on the Royal Albert Corridor, she’s able to take a step forwards.
New single ‘Jacked’ is out now, a jet-black piece of guitar-rooted songwriting produced by Speedy Wunderground’s Dan Carey. Visceral and direct, there’s a confrontational edge to ‘Jacked’, broadening her paranoia minimalism only a tad.
Out now, ‘Jacked’ comes geared up with information of a trio of intimate headline reveals, going down in Nottingham, Blackpool and London; seize tickets as soon as they go on sale from 9am on Thursday (June thirteenth).

“To me, ‘Jacked’ is the soundtrack to a paranoid fever dream. There’s a motion and power to the music that Jojo and I knew we wanted to convey after we have been writing the video. We wished her in flight, however she needed to be alone on this planet, so I went by way of and scratched everybody else’s face off of the movie emulsion with a security pin. That feeling of loneliness and the unknown. Scary and hilarious.”
“We figured if I jumped within the van on their US tour and shot it on an previous 35mm digital camera I’d not too long ago constructed, we might utilise all of the free overseas areas.
